DrillXR — VR Safety Training
Pricing

Pricing built around your sites, not a per-seat licence.

DrillXR is scoped to the modules, sites and hardware your rollout actually needs. The fastest way to a real number is a pilot — small, measured, and specific to your operation.

How pricing works

How DrillXR is priced

DrillXR is an enterprise safety-training platform, so it is priced like one: around the value you deploy, not a flat per-head fee. A quote is built from four components — the modules you licence, the PC-VR hardware (bought or leased), the one-time deployment and setup, and the annual platform and compliance subscription. You only pay for the scenarios your hazards require and the sites you actually run, which keeps the model honest as you scale from one plant to many.

The reason we quote rather than publish a sticker price is simple: a refinery rolling out confined-space and fire response across three sites and a single warehouse drilling forklift safety are not the same purchase, and pretending they are helps no one. What shapes your quote

Modules licensed

Which of the 80+ VR safety modules you deploy, and how many. You licence the scenarios your hazards actually need, not a fixed bundle.

Sites & scale

The number of locations, the size of the workforce being trained, and how many drills run in parallel — this sizes the hardware pool and the platform tier.

PC-VR hardware

Managed on-site PC-VR stations, bought or leased. A small pool rotates an entire shift, so the device count is driven by throughput, not headcount.

Platform & compliance

The scoring, certification and audit-ready compliance dashboard, billed as an annual subscription per the scope of your rollout.

Start with a pilot

The fastest route to a real number

The most reliable way to price a rollout is not a spreadsheet of assumptions — it is a scoped pilot. We take one or two of your highest-value modules, deploy them on a representative site for about a quarter, and let the scored sessions produce a real per-site figure alongside outcome data: time-to-competency, assessment scores and near-miss signals. That turns a budget debate into a controlled experiment, and gives finance the inputs to model the wider rollout with confidence.

From there, expansion is incremental and predictable — you add the modules and sites that the evidence justifies. To see the financial framing most boards want first, read the ROI of VR safety training, then start a pilot or book a walkthrough and we will return an indicative, site-specific plan.

Pricing FAQs

Is there a public price list?

No. DrillXR is an enterprise deployment, and a fair price depends on the modules you licence, the number of sites and operators, and whether you buy or lease hardware. We scope a quote to your actual rollout rather than charging a one-size-fits-all per-seat fee.

Do we have to buy VR headsets?

Not necessarily. Many teams lease PC-VR stations for the pilot and buy once the programme is proven. Because drills are short and a station in a managed setup rotates a whole shift, most sites need far fewer devices than they expect.

Is it priced per user or per site?

Per deployment, not per seat. Pricing is built around the modules and the sites in scope plus the platform subscription, so adding more trainees at an existing site does not multiply your cost the way per-user licensing does.

What does a pilot cost?

A pilot is deliberately small: one or two high-value modules on a representative site over roughly a quarter. We scope it so the spend is modest and the output is real — a per-site figure and outcome data you can use to model a wider rollout.

Are there ongoing costs after setup?

Yes — the platform and compliance dashboard are an annual subscription, and you can add modules or sites over time. Hardware is either a one-time purchase or a lease line. There are no per-attempt or hidden usage fees.
