DrillXR — VR Safety Training
About

Defence-grade simulation, built for industry.

DrillXR is a product of VR and AR Labs Pvt Ltd — a simulation team applying the fidelity of defence training to the everyday hazards of industrial work.

Why we exist

High-hazard industry runs on procedures that fail exactly when they matter most: the day of the real emergency. Classroom training fades, and the worst-case scenarios are the ones you can never safely stage. DrillXR exists to close that gap.

We put operators inside true-to-life hazard scenarios in VR, score every action, and turn each session into audit-ready evidence. The result is a workforce that has already performed the emergency, correctly and under pressure, before it ever happens.

Defence Credential

Proud to train India's defence forces.

DrillXR is built by VR and AR Labs Pvt Ltd, the team trusted to develop simulation training for India's armed forces. The same defence-grade fidelity and Make-in-India engineering now protects your industrial teams.

What we hold to

Defence-grade fidelity

Simulation built to the standard demanded by armed-forces training, applied to industrial hazards.

Make in India

Engineered in India for Indian industry, its regulations and its operating realities.

Evidence over attendance

Every product decision serves one goal: provable competence, not a signed register.

Our mission

Our mission

DrillXR exists to make industrial safety provable. In high-hazard work, the cost of a gap between what people were told and what they can actually do is measured in injuries, shutdowns and regulatory exposure. Our mission is to close that gap by letting every operator rehearse the emergency — correctly, repeatedly and under pressure — long before it ever arrives, and to turn each of those rehearsals into evidence a board and an auditor can trust. We are not trying to make training more entertaining; we are trying to make competence verifiable.

DrillXR is built by VR and AR Labs Pvt Ltd, a simulation team that brings the discipline of armed-forces training to the everyday hazards of industrial work. The same fidelity that defence training demands — accurate physics, consequence for error, scored performance — is exactly what industry has lacked. We engineer that fidelity in India, for Indian industry, with its regulations and operating realities designed in from the start rather than bolted on. Make-in-India is not a slogan here; it is how the product is scoped, built and supported. You can see the result across our VR safety training modules and the industries we serve.

The problem

The problem with classroom training

A slide deck and a signed attendance register tell you someone was in the room. They tell you nothing about whether that person can shut down a process safely, lead an evacuation, or handle a spill when adrenaline is high and the layout is unfamiliar. Classroom knowledge fades within weeks, and the scenarios that matter most — the fire, the confined- space rescue, the runaway reaction — are precisely the ones you can never safely stage in real life. So the moments your training exists for are the moments it was never able to practise. That is the structural flaw DrillXR was built to fix.

In VR, the worst case becomes rehearsable. Operators step inside a true-to-life hazard, act under time pressure, and feel the consequence of every decision without anyone being put at risk. Because each action is scored and timed, the session produces a record of capability rather than a record of attendance. When several people must coordinate, our multiplayer training scores the whole team, so you can see how a shift actually responds together. The engine behind every scenario is described on the platform page.

Who we serve

Evidence over attendance — and who we serve

Every product decision we make serves one principle: provable competence, not a signed register. That principle shapes how scenarios are scored, how results are logged, and how the compliance record is structured so it maps cleanly onto statutory requirements. When an auditor asks how you know a crew is ready, the honest answer should be a dataset of scored attempts, not a folder of certificates. DrillXR is designed to make that answer the easy one.

We serve the people responsible for keeping high-hazard sites safe and compliant: EHS and safety leaders who need to prove readiness, operations heads who need crews productive faster, and the trainers who run competency day to day. That spans heavy manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, chemicals and process, energy, construction and more. The best way to understand the fit for your own operation is to see it working — book a live walkthrough, start a focused pilot on your own floor, or review the outcomes other teams measure in our case studies.

Our heritage

From defence simulation to the factory floor

VR and AR Labs Pvt Ltd did not start with corporate e-learning; it started with the unforgiving requirements of armed-forces training, where a simulation that is merely convincing is not good enough. Defence-grade simulation has to model accurate physics, impose real consequence for error, and score performance honestly, because the people it trains will face situations where being approximately right is not survivable. That discipline is the heritage we carry into industry. The everyday hazards of a plant — a runaway reaction, a confined-space rescue, an evacuation under smoke — demand the same fidelity, and for too long industrial training settled for far less. DrillXR is what happens when that defence-grade standard is pointed at the factory floor.

The translation is not cosmetic. The same engine that makes a defence scenario behave correctly is what lets an operator feel the consequence of closing the wrong valve, and what makes the resulting score mean something. You can see how that fidelity shows up across our VR training library and in the coordinated multiplayer drills that score a whole crew at once.

Make in India

The Make-in-India engineering stance

DrillXR is engineered in India, for Indian industry, and that is a design decision rather than a marketing line. Indian regulations, plant realities and operating constraints are designed into the product from the start instead of being retrofitted onto a system built for another market. It means the scenarios, the compliance record and the deployment model all assume the conditions our customers actually work in. Building here also means our team stays close to the operations we serve, so the roadmap is shaped by the hazards on real Indian sites rather than by a distant product backlog. The same stance carries forward as the platform extends into AR maintenance and the broader set of industries we support.

Underpinning all of it is a single philosophy: competence should be provable. We would rather a customer hold a dataset of scored attempts than a folder of certificates, because only one of those answers the question an auditor — or a coroner — actually asks. That belief is why every feature, from the scoring engine on the platform to the structure of the compliance record, is built to turn training into evidence. If that philosophy matches how you think about safety, the best next step is to see it on your own floor in a walkthrough or a pilot.
